ARE you afraid of hardships?
Hey people!
Today, during my QT, I read about Paul and Silas. [Acts 16:22-34] Yeah. Even though they faced loads of hardships such as being flogged (which is really painful) and jailed, they were WILLING. I realized that through hardships can God's AWESOME Power shine the brightest! Paul and Silas denied their rights and took up the cross, having a sacrificial life similar to that of Jesus Christ. They were so desperate to see people saved that they were willing to go through these hardships!
In the face of hardships, they sang hymns and praised God. I guess they would have been asking God for strength and love to overcome what they are facing. They wanted to know God more and enter into His presence. What can we say to this? Are the problems we face now similar to theirs, being flogged or jailed? Do you really think that these challenges we face - they're so big we can't handle them? NO. They are not. Why? It's simply because we have a God IS God and we have a BIG GOD. A God who is bigger and better and much more powerful than any other thing, any other problems.
So, really want to encourage people who are discouraged and might think we can't do it: Think otherwise. When problems come and challenges seem to rise up against us, think back to the awesome power of God, which empowers us and equips us to do whatever He wants us to do. Have faith in God! Come on, if not faith in God, then faith in what? Nothing else, isn't it? What can come against us if we have God supporting us, when we are walking in line with God's will for us? Nothing! What can God NOT do? Nothing!
IS ANYTHING IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD???
Nothing. Simply nothing.
Jiayous people for MCG! 100 is coming! It'll be a time of fun, when people's hearts are open wide=) Thank God for everyone who planned and is working hard to ensure that things flow smoothly=)
Jiayous people. Really. The blessings are coming. 100 for MCG is within our grasp. 9 CGs by end July is within our grasp. 12 CGs by mid-August is within our grasp. Completing CG08 is within our grasp! God is going to move. When we trust in Him and step out of our comfort zone. Everything's gonna change. For the better. =)
Pray, pray people! Really have the mindset of like, I'm not going to sleep or stop praying until I receive a Word from God or until God has spoken to me. Don't ever miss out on what God has to say to you. Every Word that God speaks to you is like a golden drop of liquid, precious as nothing else on earth. Don't let these droplets of golden liquid go down the drain. Treasure your QT and time with God!!! =)
