RGS.
I don't believe it can't be won.
Today's PLM was as refreshing as ever. Assurances of God and His promises were said aloud in Canberra Park. I have three things that i would like to share=)
First.
I was really filled with faith and really really believe that CG08 is going to be completed by 2008! We're NOT going to alter the date. Like, how can it NOT happen?! God is GOD! Miracles are created by Him! What can NOT happen? Nothing! Faith is super duper important. Without faith, what can we accomplish? Really would like to encourage everyone to put complete trust in the Lord, for He has the greatest plan for every single one of us.
Second.
God is behind us! Can you feel it? God's presence is ever so strong. I had this picture of my school. On one side, satan and his evil forces were there, dark and gloomy. On the other side, I was standing there. But, I wasn't alone! Behind me, supporting me, backing me up, I had God! I had North A! I had North! I had the whole church! And then the 2 sides came into the school. And, WE WON SATAN!!! Satan lost the school! It felt victorious, very victorious=) I'm also very touched about the fact that the entire church is supporting all of us, that my family of God was united and strong! =)
Third.
Pride. While I was worshipping, God dropped a verse all of a sudden into my head. I didn't remember the verse nor had any idea what it was about, so I didn't share. I thought about the issue of pride while we were all walking from Canberra Park to Sun Plaza. After I reached home and flipped to that verse just now, I didn't see any connection either, right til I thought and remembered what I wanted to share here.
Thoughts.
I realized that the thing about confirmation and quantity of people in our group is not about "Wa! Anqi has 5 contacts coming" or "Ooh Vivien has 3 contacts coming". As in, these are really good and are encouragement to us, setting examples and goals for us. However, we shouldn't see confirmation as something that we get our pride from. In the sense that our purpose for confirmation isn't to get the most contacts so that we're like the best, bringing the most contact in the unit / CG. We should bring contacts in because we care for their souls, we want to do things that extend God's Kingdom and pleases God. Yeah. And I realized that I have been having the attitude of wanting to bring the most number of contacts in the group, being envious about others. So must change this attitude. [Tsk Tsk me. Haha]
The verse.
"Hear and pay attention, DO NOT BE ARROGANT[proud], for the Lord has spoken." Jeremiah 13:15
Yeah so, here it says don't be arrogant or proud. So it confirms what I have thought of. And this verse came up before God gave me what it is about I believe. It's so amazing how God's planned things always click together, isn't it? =)
Yeah, so basically that's what I wanted to share=) Pray that these will encourage you all=) Jiayou North A! Grab hold of God's promises, cling onto them. God is not a liar. He will complete what He has promised. Thus, if God promised that our schools will be completed by 2008, it will!!! Have complete faith in our glorious God!
