Hey!
Today i will blog about a few things and i shall use Joyce's method of organizing. Hehe!
1) Word from God during CG
Philippians 3:7-9, 13-14
7 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.
8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ
9 and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ---the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.
13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
I believe that God wants to encourage us that, even though now it is exams period and there might be alot of things coming up, stress, problems with ministry, etc. but learn from Paul---to really persevere towards our goal, our ultimate goal. Let's strive on towards knowing God and letting God be known to the ends of the earth!
Yayy! This is the second time i shared about God's Word in CG=) Really glad. All glory goes to God! Thank God for using me, such an insignificant one, to encourage the group. =)
2) Holy Spirit Batised---7 for the week! (as far as i know)
Thank God for giving them the Holy Spirit so that their adventure with God will be empowered and impactful, and they will be able to influence others even more! Really thank God! Cuz i have a sheep (but not really counted in stats) and she was Holy Spirit Baptised on thurday during shepherding. It was like the first time i prayed for someone to receive the Holy Spirit, I was quite scared at first. Hehe. Thank God and the Holy Spirit for leading me=)
3) Rain or not?
On thursday(really a day of miracles! haha:D), i was on the bus to moelc(french class). Then the sky was very dark. So i prayed for God to not let it rain before all RGS buses reach moelc. And it happened as what i prayed. Then while we were having classes, it rained very very heavily! So i prayed for God to not let it rain when our class ended. And it happened so as well! God answers prayers! Don't give up praying for what you want, according to God's will. Persevere on, because God might be testing you. =)
So people, JIAYOU! Three weeks left. Let's do it, together with God. Let's complete CG08 for God's Glory!!!
