I want to thank God for the 4 CLs for putting in their efforts to teach us (: Thank God for you all for the teachings. I really learnt a lot (:
Just got to read Chris ( hope Brisbane ) and this small little paragraph from one of his post really makes me speechless. He wrote :
Sometime today, as I listened to that song(Healer) again on repeat. I asked God, “what about the song - is it still a God-song?”, “what about the throngs of young people who followed him, trusted him and adored him?”, “what about this world who needs the light?”. What are we going to do?
I believe His answer is still the same as it has been throughout the ages; through the judges and kings who have come and gone, those who have fallen, those who have returned. It’s been the same through storms & calamities, through great persecution, through some of the darkest times mankind has ever known.
It’s the same today.God is still sovereign. He is still in control. He is still our healer. He can still save our generation. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.
This is not the time to point our fingers, to cast condemnation, to lose hope or to be angry with God.
This is the time to hold on to God, to His character and to His faithfulness.
This is the time for all of us to examine our own lives and our integrity, and our accountability.
This is the time to pray. To pray for the churches in our nation. To pray for this generation that is lost and desperately needs Jesus.
This is the time to pray for the critics, for the atheists, for the disillusioned, the hurt and the bitter.
This is the time for us to come in humility before God. To submit our lives to Him. To trust Him, love Him and walk with Him.
My heart is with every young person who are struggling with God because of this incident. It’s with those who are still believing God for healing who found strength in the song and are now unsure what to hold on to. It’s with those who are hurt and are pushed deeper in the pit of bitterness and doubt because of the mistrust developed through incidents like this. It’s with family and friends whose pain we can only imagine. Let’s look to God and pray together for ourselves and so many others.Ya God is the same yesterday,today and forever. Though in this world, man may fail but God never fail to be there for us when we needed Him. God is in control and He can do something about this generation if we hold on to God firmly and keep knocking on the door and keep asking God to do something about it.From this chunk of words that he has made, you can really tell his compassion towards this generation. We should have such compassion like his. Feel for them. This generation seriously need Jesus in their lives. Let's step out of our comfort zone and chiong all out for God. Let's save this generation from being destroyed by satan. With God, everything is possible to be done, amen?!
